Thank you so much for your interest in running for us at the Great Manchester Run 2020. The Great Manchester Run half marathon and 10k are the greatest running events in Manchester for a reason.

Applications are now open and we would love you to join Team Maggie's!

How to join our team

Apply for one of our charity places.

We'll choose the runners we feel will raise the most money for Maggie's so please enter as much detail as possible when you apply online to increase your chances of being chosen.

If you're successful, we'll ask you to raise a minimum of £250 for the half marathon and £200 for the 10k run. There's no registration fee for either distance.

Already got your own place?

If you've already got your own place, we'd love to have you on our team. Please let us know if you’d like to run for us.

How we’ll support you

All of our runners get a Maggie’s running vest to wear on race day as well as fundraising and training support leading up to the event.

We will also be there on the day with cheers of encouragement along the route.

With your incredible support we can continue to help people with cancer and their families.

Every year we see so many people visit our centres and we'd like to thank amazing people like you who help us to be there for each and every one of our visitors.

How your money helps

Your support means so much to the people affected by cancer who come to our Centres each day. It costs £590,000 a year to keep a Maggie's Centre open, and the money you raise will help your Maggie's Centre continue to provide emotional, practical and social support to people with cancer and their family and friends.
