Maggie's is seeking an enthusiastic and creative Special Events Manager to join our team. 

The post-holder will have responsibility for project managing and implementing the special events programme and annual events calendar for Maggie’s. They will deliver high value cultivation events and oversee major ticketed ‘special events’. They will hold the ‘masterplan’ for all mid to major engagement events and will work in partnership with colleagues to deliver and support the delivery of the special events programme; UK wide. They will manage a Special Events Assistant in this role.

The post holder will establish collaborative working relationships both internally with other senior staff across the organisation and externally with volunteers and other key stakeholders. They will contribute to the development and implementation of Maggie’s overall plans, ensuring the programme of special events is meeting awareness and fundraising needs.

In addition the post-holder will identify key opportunities to maximise the support of our lead donors and patrons and deliver high quality supporter care in line with our supporter care policy. 

This is a full-time post, however, we are open to discussing the possibility of a 4-day-week working pattern.
